We raise donkeys for the enjoyment and to sell.  Our jennies are standard grays and the jack is a smaller brown jack.  The jack is “Bernie” and the jennies are “Thelma and Louise”.

Here is little Ike, he was borne during hurricane Ike so we named him after that big blow.

He will be gray like his mother.

That is his dad with him.  This little guy is ready to wean and is ready to go.

This guy is Teddy, he is about a year old and loves people.  He is like a big dog.  He is an intact jack and would make a nice horse companion, he is too short in the pants to do any horse breeding.  He  also gets along well with other animals including goats.  He has had all his shots, trimmed and loads into a trailer.  This guy has a bray that won’t quit.  He is for sale

Mr. Bernie is the resident jack.  Many jacks are unpredictable and have to be watched all the time.  Bernie fortunately does not have these problems.  Just have to watch him if a Jenny is in heat or he is after one of the mares, good luck with that.
